Cleanliness is a key factor to check on before you start living in a new apartment so make sure that the surroundings are well maintained and cleaned. Allow Ventilations:

It is important to allow flow in of fresh air to the room for a healthy living. So open the windows especially when cool breeze circulates outside as it will help in filtration of bad air inside with fresh one.

Test the Indoor Air:
It is always advised to analyze the quality of the air on a frequent basis with the help of a professional air tester to ensure that you and your family are living in a harmless condition. You may also collect the sample of the air and forward it to a biological lab to know about the result yourself.

Greenery in the Surroundings:
It has been proven that plants help in improving the quality of indoor air. Plant it  near the entry of your room or on the top of the windows which will help in the  purification process. Some suggestion of such plants are spider plant, aloe vera, snake plant, bamboo palm, Tulsi etc.

Use Exhaust fans:
Exhaust fans sucks up the the dense air inside and which helps reduce humidity and congestion of air. During the cooking process it would be better if you turn on the exhaust fans so as it will empty the dense air inside. If you find any growth of mold or fungus inside your bathroom immediately contact the concerned team who is responsible for the maintenance of the apartment and alert about this issue.

Limit the use of chemicals:
Almost in every household nowadays there is a regular use of chemicals to drive the pests away from the premises or for cleaning the room. This releases huge amount  of chemicals to the environment which are proved dangerous to the health. Avoid using chemicals with fragrances and rely on natural ingredients like baking soda or vinegar to mop the floor.

Furnitures and Paints:
While buying a furniture make sure that the furniture you bought are organic and have very less or no VOC and formaldehyde contents. VOC are toxic chemicals that can spread into the environment after applying on the walls which will remain  for years. Also while you paint your rooms look for a paint which have no VOC emissions.

Clean Daily:
Clean the room on a daily basis as the residents living there themselves  carry a lot of germs and dust from outside. Broomsticks is  the best tool to clean the room due to flexibility of its hairs. It is also recommended to use vacuum cleaners to  sip up the invisible dusts and dirts from the floor, furniture and everywhere which may lead to poor standard of air.

Check Your Bedroom:
Bedrooms plays an crucial role in deciding the air quality as all your dusts and sweat in your body finally settles on the bed. Before going to bed take a bath so that we can prevent the dirt entering to the bed.  Check for the evils that remain in your bedrooms and  we'll suggest you wash all the clothes once in a week. Also make a ventilation in the bedroom before going to sleep for filtration of air.
